Hello Friends,
I've got some exciting changes happening with the "Always Learning" newsletter, and I wanted to share the good news!
Back in 2021, I started this Substack without a concrete plan, just diving in and sharing my thoughts. It's been a fun ride, but I've come to realize the full potential of this platform – it's meant to help me connect with you, share valuable insights, and build a strong community around our ideas.
I've mostly used it as an extension of my other blogging efforts, and that's why we're making some changes. The "Always Learning" newsletter is moving to Ed Post, the publication I lead at brightbeam, my employer. I'm starting a podcast and a few other special features under the AL brand. My Substack, on the other hand, will become more personal and focus on culture alongside education.
So, my Citizen Stewart blogging, website, social media accounts, and Substack are all getting a fresh look with a broader range of ideas. This shift will allow me to grow intellectually, explore new perspectives, and connect with a broader community of curious and enthusiastic individuals who share my interests.
"Always Learning" is transforming into "Citizen Ed," the brand I started nearly eight years ago.
For those of you who have been following my journey through various changes over the years, thank you for sticking with me. Change is my constant, and an ever-present curiosity drives everything I do.
To my loyal paid subscribers of "Always Learning," your support means the world, and you'll continue to enjoy exclusive content and insights. To my free subscribers, I'm thrilled to have you join our growing community as we embark on this exciting new chapter.
I'm eager to discuss education, tech, democracy, and culture with this broader focus. Expanding our horizons, I can contribute even more effectively to the important conversations shaping our world.
Thank you for being a part of our wonderful community. Together, we'll explore, learn, and evolve.
Warmest regards,
Citizen Stewart
